Where each platform genuinely wins
A comparison page you can trust has to admit what the other side does well. Here's ours.
Housecall Pro is a fine choice if…
- Your whole crew is on iPhones — their iOS app is genuinely polished
- You want the biggest brand name and largest user community in SMB field service
- You're a solo operator who'll stay solo, never needs QuickBooks sync, and fits inside the $59 plan
- You value their consumer financing and marketplace integrations
myServiceForce mXP wins when…
- You're growing — hiring should never trigger a software price jump
- Your techs carry Android phones and need the app to actually work
- Your books have to reconcile — deposits, bundles and taxes handled right in QBO
- You run warranty work for AHS or other networks — nobody else has TPM
- You'd rather fund software through processing you already pay than through subscriptions
Warranty & third-party work is a first-class citizen
If part of your revenue comes from home-warranty dispatches, general FSM tools make you track it in spreadsheets. mXP's Third-Party Module keeps that work separate but integrated — its own work-order lists, custom statuses, customer communications by status, and transaction history.
home-warranty and third-party networks supported, including American Home Shield — with portal status updates and invoicing on the roadmap.
Leaving Housecall Pro without losing a dollar
Your customers, jobs and price book export from Housecall Pro as standard files. The one thing that can't legally move is stored payment cards — so we built the fix.
Import everything
Export customers, jobs and price book from your HCP dashboard. We map, de-duplicate and import — including years of service history.
Recover stored cards
PCI rules keep card tokens locked in HCP Pay. We rebuild your recurring agreements and send customers secure branded links to re-enter cards — with incentive templates that drive 80%+ re-enrollment.
Run in parallel
New work flows into mXP immediately; scheduled jobs finish on HCP. Nothing breaks mid-job. Then cancel before your next renewal.
